Career History
After being inspired during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and over a decade of working in a mundane world of manufacturing management, targets and timetables. It was time to break free of engineering and follow my interest of sport and exercise, into a career that would give me the satisfaction I craved .
With no formal anatomy knowledge, I enrolled into 4 more years of Adult College and University Level education whilst balancing this with my employment and family life .
Now a fully qualified Sports Therapist I was lucky enough to be offered a part time role within the medical team of a professional football club 'Shrewsbury Town', to whom I will always be indebted too, for giving me that chance. With these I was able to gain valuable experience working in an elite environment from both a pitch-side and clinic based rehabilitation point of view .
As well as Shrewsbury Town, I was also seeing/treating local patients privately and also held the position of Sports Therapist with my hometown football club Newtown AFC, in the welsh premier league . After a good number of years juggling all of this it was time to take the leap of faith and pursue my Sports Therapy career full time .
I am now head Sports Therapist at current National league side 'Wrexham professional football club', work for my country at national level for the Football Association of Wales and own a thriving private clinic based at a gym I co-own locally .
